Can I be a supplier and buyer?

Yes you can but you must register and be approved to enter the Winescape Marketplace, see the  Register in the tool bar above.

I am a retail consumer of wine can I still get into Winescape?

You can be approved as a Buyer but this is at the discretion of the Winescape administrator and it is optional for suppliers to provide samples. You should also realize that prices listed are low owing to the expectation of a purchase of commercial quantities of a product. If you request to purchase less than a commercial quantity (or the minimum quantity listed for that product) the supplier may alter price.

Do suppliers have to supply samples to me when I request?

No they don’t, sample supply of bulk and cleanskin wine is at the discretion of the supplier, but Suppliers don’t list wine to leave it in tank and if your lead is genuine it would be normal for you to recieve samples from samples requests.

What if a wine I sample changes from my original sample?

This will happen from time to time. A wine could be sold or it may be necessary to blend for logistical reasons. Our suggestion in this instance is give us a call and we will advise the way to go. Usually it just means that the same wine has changed slightly and needs to be resampled.

Do I use the same login and username for buying and selling?

Yes you do.

My company does not want the market to know we are looking for samples, can we request samples anonymously?

Requesting samples through Winescape means the  Supplier will recieve the name and delivery address of the Buyer. If as a Buyer you do not want any Suppliers to know you’re requesting samples then contact us and we can act on your behalf and send samples on to your address. There may be a small administrative charge in this case.

Why are only West Australian wines listed?

We’re happy to list wines from outside of Western Australia. Currently Western Australia is where our expertise lies and as such this is where we concentrate.

What is the charge?

Suppliers pay Winescape at the below rates once a sale is completed. There is no charge to buy however Buyers do have to comply with our registration process. Fees are payable at receipt of funds from the Buyer.
